1. Introduction

Welcome to Ledgerly. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website at ledgerlys.pro and your participation in any educational programs offered by Ledgerly ("we", "us", "our"), located at 7 Persiaran Gurney, 10250 George Town, Penang, Malaysia.

By accessing our website or registering for any of our programs, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to any part of these Terms, you should not use our website or register for our programs.

We may update these Terms periodically. Continued use of our services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Nature of Our Services

Ledgerly provides financial education programs for individuals and couples in Malaysia. Our programs are designed to improve financial literacy and awareness.

3. Program Registration

Registration for a Ledgerly program is subject to the following:

• All programs are open to individuals aged 18 and above, ordinarily resident in Malaysia.
• Registration is confirmed only upon receipt of full payment or a written payment arrangement accepted by Ledgerly.
• Ledgerly reserves the right to decline or cancel a registration at its reasonable discretion, including in cases where a program is oversubscribed.
• Program schedules, session formats, and facilitators may be subject to change. We will notify registered participants of material changes in a timely manner.
• For the Financial Literacy for Couples program, both partners are required to attend unless otherwise agreed with our team in writing.

4. Payment Terms

Program fees are as follows:

• All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
• Payment is due in full at the time of registration unless a written instalment arrangement is agreed.
• Ledgerly reserves the right to review and update program fees periodically. Any fee changes will not apply to registrations already confirmed.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that circumstances change. Our cancellation terms are as follows:

• More than 14 days before the program start date: Full refund, minus a RM 150 administrative fee.
• 7–14 days before the program start date: 50% refund of the program fee paid.
• Fewer than 7 days before the program start date: No refund. You may, however, transfer your registration to another person with written notice to Ledgerly.
• Cancellation by Ledgerly: Should we cancel a program for any reason, you will receive a full refund within 14 business days.

6. Participant Conduct

We aim to provide a respectful and constructive learning environment for all participants. By registering, you agree to:

• Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect.
• Refrain from recording sessions (audio, video, or otherwise) without prior written consent from Ledgerly.
• Not reproduce, distribute, or commercialise program materials or content for any purpose outside personal learning use.
• Participate in good faith, acknowledging the educational (non-advisory) nature of the program.

Ledgerly reserves the right to remove a participant from a program, without refund, where conduct is deemed disruptive, disrespectful, or harmful to others.

7. Intellectual Property

All content on this website and within our program materials — including text, graphics, worksheets, frameworks, and course structures — is the intellectual property of Ledgerly or its content contributors.

• You may use program materials for your own personal learning purposes only.
• Reproduction, resale, republication, or use of materials for commercial training purposes is strictly prohibited without written permission from Ledgerly.
• The Ledgerly name and logo are trademarks of Ledgerly and may not be used without our consent.

8. Website Use

By using our website, you agree not to:

• Use the website in any way that is unlawful, harmful, or fraudulent.
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its underlying systems.
• Transmit unsolicited commercial communications or spam via any contact mechanism on our website.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from our website without written permission.

We make reasonable efforts to ensure the website is available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access or the complete accuracy of all information presented.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Malaysian law:

• Ledgerly shall not be liable for any financial decisions made by participants as a result of attending our educational programs.
• Ledgerly shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential, or special loss or damage arising from use of our website or participation in our programs.
• Our total liability to you in connection with any program or website use shall not exceed the program fee paid by you for the relevant program.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraudulent misrepresentation.

10. Third-Party Links

Our website may contain links to third-party websites, resources, or services. These links are provided for your convenience only. Ledgerly has no control over the content of those sites and accepts no responsibility for them or for any loss or damage that may arise from your use of them.

11. Privacy

Your use of our website and participation in our programs is also subject to our Privacy Policy, which sets out how we collect and use your personal data in compliance with Malaysia's Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (PDPA). By using our services, you confirm your acceptance of that policy.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unlawful, void, or for any reason unenforceable, that provision shall be deemed severable and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining provisions.
